Where does the time go?  Sunday, September 11, we will mark the 10th anniversary of 9/11 tragedy, and it has occurred to me that perhaps as much as 25% of our current population has no real visceral memory of that day.  For those of us who could never forget where we were and what we were doing ten years ago, it is hard to digest the fact that there are those who have come after us who will know about 9/11 mostly from the history books.

 

I couldn't think of a better day to begin a new sermon series titled “Living the Inspired Life,” and the first installment will be on Courage.  I think that is an appropriate topic as we remember the day that changed our lives, and memorialize so many whose courage will not be forgotten. Please continue to join us in worship as we also look at the following topics of: Service, Community, Gratitude, and Generosity. 

 

I am convinced that if we would all practice these five habits, or virtues, we would come much closer to living the Good Life.
