Chaplain Ministry

The CUMC Care Center has a group of trained Lay Chaplains who are on call and available around the clock. The Chaplains are available to help when there is an emergency, when people are in the hospital or when there are other urgent needs. A chaplain can be reached at any time by calling 972-596-4303 and following the instructions. A Chaplain's role is to provide pastoral care in the name of Christ to those individuals who are in need of loving care and concern. The CUMC Care Center has a group of trained Lay Chaplains who are on call and available around the clock help people in times of crisis or pastoral need. The Chaplains are on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. They can be reached by calling the church number and following the instructions for emergency care. The Chaplains also provide the primary hospital care for the church and make call to members and friends during their hospital stays. The ministry of the Chaplains is to provided pastoral care in the name of Christ to all those who need that care.
