1 Can At a Time
(formally Soup Cans)
We want to help feed the hungry 1 can at a time! This is something everyone can do from age 5 to 105 - bring one can every time you visit CUMC! Our vision is to see the 1 Can At a Time program spread across the nation to all communities empowering Christians to set an example and teach others to love our neighbor, use our God -given talents and expand the Kingdom of God - One can at a time, one family at a time, one church community at a time.
Through this project, CUMC provides canned goods and other non-perishable food items to local food pantries like Salvation Army and God's Food Pantry. These agencies distribute the food to families in need.
