The CUMC Care Center has a group of trained lay chaplains who are on call and available around the clock. The ministry of the chaplains is to provide pastoral care, in the name of Christ, to all those who need that care. The chaplains are available to help when there is an emergency, or when there are other urgent needs. The chaplains also provide the primary hospital care for the church and make calls to members and friends during their hospital stays.
