Elementary Children's Ministry

Sunday School for 1st-3rd grade

During the 9:45 and 11:00 worship hours, children learn one bible lesson by rotating through a different themed room each week. Classrooms include Drama, Chapel, Movies, Art, Music/Games, Science/Cooking, Missions, and Computers. This multi-genre approach to teaching caters to children's different learning styles.      

Traditional Sunday school is offered at 8:45 and will meet in the same classroom each week. The location will be posted on the bulletin board at the top of the staircase. Sunday school lessons during this hour will be taught through reading bible stories, playing games, and making simple craft projects.

All Sunday school teachers are trained volunteers who have completed a background check. If you are interested in serving as a Sunday school teacher, please e-mail the Children's Ministry department.

Sunday Morning Sign-In

Our elementary Sunday school classrooms are located on the second floor of the main building. At the top of each staircase, you will find a bulletin board with the weekly rotation schedule posted where you can locate your child's classroom for each hour. As you arrive at the classroom, please register your child's attendance on the roster indicating where you will be during each hour of worship.  If you are a guest, please complete the yellow guest form.  If you would like your child's name added to the attendance roster, please complete the blue registration form available outside each classroom.  For the safety of the children, all children must be picked up by a parent/guardian from class.

Building Friendship through Fun and Fellowship

The Children's Ministriey offers many events throughout the year giving our children a chance to grow deeper friendships with kids their own age. There is a special event especially for each of our grades 1st-3rd. Please check out our main page for upcoming events.
