Loving God, Serving Others ... Transforming Lives

2014 Confirmation (grades 7-12)

Confirmation is a time for 7th-12th grade youth to commit to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives, better understand the Christian faith, and learn the privileges and obligations of baptism and full church membership. It is, by far, one of the most important ministries we offer our youth.

WHO? 7th-12th grade youth, their parents, and Faith Partners

WHAT? the history of the church, United Methodist beliefs, Scripture study, service projects, fun, friendship... real life change!
WHEN? Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m... and a few times in between

WHERE? the Christian Life Center (CLC), unless otherwise specified
COST?  It's free!
The 2014 Confirmation season will begin January 17th with a youth and parent meeting in the Christian Life Center (CLC) LOFT at 6:00 p.m. Following the meeting, the youth will gather again at the CLC to officially kick off the season in fun! The first Sunday morning class will be Sunday, January 19th, at 8:30 a.m. You can click the link below for the full schedule. *Note: youth are not allowed more than two absences from Sunday morning lessons (details in the Confirmation Covenant below).
To register online, to view the full scheduled, or to download the required forms to complete your registration, please click the appropriate link that is provided below.
Parent/Adult Confirmation Class! Parents and adults who would like to do Confirmation are invited to attend the adult Confirmation class. The adult class will meet in Rm. N156 (north building) at the same time as the youth classes (8:30 a.m.) and will cover the same content with an adult "twist." In the past, parents have loved the Confirmation class because it deepens their understanding of the Christian faith and focuses on their role in nurturing their child's faith. Registration is not required for the adult Confirmation class.
If you have questions regarding Confirmation 2014, please email Zach Zink, Associate Director of the Youth Ministry.
