We welcome your participation in one or more of the opportunities listed below.

PROJECT HOPE & NEXT GENERATION:

Become a coach for a family (the adults) in Project Hope by being a family/faith coach or a budget coach. Contact laurie@cumc.com for details and to learn how you can get trained for this wonderful opportunity.

Become a mentor coach for youth involved in Project Next Generation. Contact Andrea Gulledge for more information at andrea@cumc.com.

Committee Members are needed for Serving Others Family day of celebration and Awareness which will take place in May 2012. Assistance with planning and coordinating for the Art Fair, Live and Silent Auction and/or Awareness work. Contact Jana Grimone at 972.596.4303 or jana@cumc.com to get involved.

CARE CORPS: If you like to cook, this is a great opportunity for you. Volunteers are need to prepare a meal for those who have been hospitalized, new baby, or a death in the family. Meal preparation is simple - usually a casserole, salad and dessert. Contact marylin@cumc.com to volunteer or for more information.

PARKING LOT HOSPITALITY: Assist with welcoming members and visitors as they are in the parking lot. Choose your Sunday morning per month and worship time. This only takes 20 minutes of your time once a month. Contact alexandra@cumc.com.

USHERS FOR ALL SERVICES: We are in need of additional ushers for all services. If you are interested in serving as an usher, please contact pat@cumc.com.

COMMUNION SERVERS: Servers are needed for all three services. If you are interested in this opportunity to serve the congregation communion, please contact Shirley Rex at mamarex@tx.rr.com. We need more volunteers immediately.

NURING HOME/HOMEBOUND MINISTRY: Visitors, piano players, sing-a-long leaders, game players, devotion speakers and party givers are some of the volunteers of all ages that are needed in the Nursing Home/Homebound Ministry as we bring the church and God's love to those who are homebound. Individuals, Sunday school classes and other small groups who are interested can contact marylin@cumc.com or Kay McGowan at 972.596.7186.

SPECIAL ANGELS: Assist children with special needs so they can participate in the ministries of our church. We are excited that this program is growing and we will need more volunteers, especially during the 9:45 hour. Contact sreiners@cumc.com for more information.

SUNDAY MORNING WELCOME DESK: Your help is needed during the 11:00 worship service. Choose your Sunday of the month. For more information, contact Marylin Smith at marylin@cumc.com.

Library: Volunteers are needed to staff the library on Sunday mornings. We also need assistance in performing a variety of duties on Wednesday mornings or afternoons. Contact Ruth at library@cumc.com or rwalkertx@tx.rr.com.

Christian Life Center: Your help is needed at the CLC Welcome desk one Sunday per month from 11am to 12 noon. Greet members and visitors and answer phones. Bring your smile and join us! Contact Angie at angie@cumc.com,
